I Like Big Butts

Gotta love Sir Mix-A-Lot.

Well, I'm neither 5'3" or 36-24-36. My name is Christine. I'm 32, and live in Oregon. I've never been one of those girls that weight loss comes easily. Scratching and clawing to lose a pound or two. It's not that I don't work hard on a run or weight workout, I do. I'm one of the gruntter, and once or twice during a workout the F word might slip out. The burn feels good, the sweat a reward, so why on earth do I struggle so? I have formulated a few guesses. Food. Lovely, delicious food. Oh how I love to eat. One helping--two helpings......you get the point. And cocktails once or twice a week. As an ex bartender I know how to make a few good ones and do. So what am I going so different in the next ten weeks?

Weight Loss Proposal:

Week 1:
Meet with Boot-camp director, Chris and have him evaluate me. Measurements, body fat. Find out where I'm at. Obtain a meal plan. Buy groceries for the meal plan. Then surrender to the process. And start working out, five days a week and hour a day. And blog about my progress and struggles.

Week 2:  
Five days a week workout. Stick to meal plan and blog.

Week 3:
Same as week two.

At this point I think we all get the jist of my plan. So now it's about implementing it. Action! Movement! And repetition.

So tomorrow is my first meeting with Chris to have him measure me. And tomorrow night is my first hour of boot camp. Am I ready? Yep, I am. Scared and nervous but glad to try something new.

Tomorrow will be my first real posts. Day one. That's exciting.
